Star Ratings Australia takes consumer complaints seriously and is committed to maintaining high standards across all rated properties.
If you believe a Star Rated property does not meet expected standards, or may be in breach of our Code of Conduct, we encourage you to report it.
All complaints are reviewed and may result in further investigation, including independent assessments such as ‘mystery guest’ visits to verify the issue.
Travellers should be aware that some third-party booking and review platforms may display their own rating systems, which can be based on guest reviews or self-assessment.
Star Ratings Australia provides an independent and consistent assessment of accommodation standards, giving travellers a trusted benchmark when comparing properties.
